Jeep Thrills is a 2008 arcade off-road racer built around officially licensed Jeep vehicles. It arrived on PlayStation 2 as a low-priced branded title near the end of that console’s commercial life. Collectors care less for landmark design than for the Jeep badge, late-era printings, and complete North American copies among budget racers.
Players choose from a roster of licensed Jeep models and take them through outdoor courses in races, timed runs, and stunt-style events. Handling is arcade rather than simulation: jumps, rolls, and loose traction are the spectacle. A short unlock path of vehicles and tracks pads a campaign typical of mid-price racers of the period. The Jeep identity is the hook; the loop is checkpoint sprints and airtime, not endurance or tuning depth.
French studio Eko Software developed the game, in line with its other compact driving titles. Destination Software (DSI Games) published the North American PlayStation 2 edition in 2008; Zoo Digital Publishing issued it in Europe. The Jeep trademark supplied marketing identity and vehicle authenticity. Production values and structure match other late-2000s budget racers rather than a first-party flagship.
Reviews generally treated Jeep Thrills as disposable budget software: serviceable for a short session, thin afterward. Recurring complaints included repetitive events, modest presentation, and physics that favored cartoonish airtime over precise control. It left little critical footprint in the racing genre. Boxed copies now interest license collectors and PlayStation 2 completionists more than players hunting classics.
