Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how RetroStronghold handles information when you use retrostronghold.com.

1. Who we are

RetroStronghold is a retro game collection tracker. For privacy questions, email [email protected] or use the Contact page.

2. Information we collect

Account information. When you register, we collect an email address and a password (stored hashed). Optional profile details you choose to add — display name, avatar, favorite games — are stored with your account.

Collection data. Anything you log — games, consoles, manuals, accessories, condition, quantity, notes, wish lists, friends lists — is stored so the Site can show it back to you and, if you make it public, to other visitors.

Usage and technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) and Cloudflare analytics. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

Payment information. Market tools memberships are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; Stripe handles that under its own policy.

3. How we use it

4. What we do not do

Price data itself comes from Price Charting’s daily CSV under a permitted arrangement; that data is market information, not your personal data.

5. Public vs. private

You control visibility. Profiles, collections, and individual titles can be public or private. Public items are visible to anyone and may appear in search results. Private items are only visible to you (and, where applicable, accepted friends).

6. Retention and deletion

We keep account and collection data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and associated data by emailing [email protected]; we will remove it within a reasonable time, except where we must retain it for legal or security reasons.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for login sessions (rs_auth, rs_user) and security. Cloudflare may set its own cookies for performance and security. There are no advertising cookies.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the Site evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when it does. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.

9. Contact

Questions about this policy: email [email protected] or use the Contact page.
