This 2009 Nintendo DS manual is the official guide to Square Enix’s portable chapter of the Kingdom Hearts saga. Collectors prize it for its concise controls, mission lists, and panel-system explanations that never appeared in later HD re-releases.
The 32-page booklet opens with a quick-start flow chart, then details the panel synthesis grid, mission deployment screens, and the Heartless bestiary. Appendices list every treasure location and Gumi Ship part.
Square Enix produced the manual in-house; its clean typography and color-coded panel diagrams reflect the same design language used in the Japanese release.
Surviving copies are usually tucked inside the original “Day 1” keep-case. Look for an intact spine and the red “Not for Resale” stamp on the back cover; both raise collector value.
